Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell was found safe, according to Daytona Beach police.

Previous Nickelodeon star Jared Drake Chime, who featured in such shows as "Drake and Josh," has been tracked down safe, hours subsequent to being accounted for missing in Daytona Ocean side, specialists expressed on Thursday.

The 36-year-old was last seen driving a 2022 gray BMW in the vicinity of Mainland High School just before 9 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Daytona police.

At 1:26 p.m. on Thursday, Daytona Police posted an update to its Facebook page stating that Bell was safe and that authorities had communicated with him.

Yvette Nicole Brown, a former costar on Drake & Josh, tweeted her concern for Bell before he was reported safe and asked fans to call the police if they saw him. A delegate for Chime didn't answer a solicitation for input.

Carrie McCallister, a spokesperson for the Daytona Beach Police Department, stated in an email that Bell was in communication with officers and that he was not in danger. She did not provide any additional information.

"Right now we can affirm policing are in touch and Mr. Chime is protected," McCallister said.

McCallister referred inquiries for additional information to the Orlando-based Orange County Sheriff's Office, which did not respond to an email.

Hours earlier, the police issued a statement stating that Bell was "missing and endangered" and requesting the public's assistance in locating him.

Bell was last seen on Wednesday night near Daytona Mainland High School. He was found around noon on Thursday.

Agents for the 36-year-old entertainer didn't promptly answer to The Related Press' solicitations for input.

Bell began performing as a child and rose to prominence as a teen thanks to roles on Nickelodeon shows like "The Amanda Show" and "Drake & Josh." From 2004 to 2007, Bell and Josh Peck starred in a Nickelodeon show that was followed by two movies. Bell has mainly worked as a voice actor since then, in addition to playing roles in obscure movies and TV shows. He also started a career in music.

In 2021, Chime was accused of kid danger connecting with a young lady who went to a 2017 show of his in Cleveland when she was 15 and had met him online years prior. He was given two years of probation after pleading guilty to felony attempted child endangerment and a misdemeanor charge of spreading harmful information to minors. In California, he was permitted to complete his probation and 200 hours of community service.
